$850 funds a scholarship for one year of secondary school
$400 purchases a set of science and math textbooks
$100 provides lunch for a class of 30 students for a month
$50 educates one child at Twegashe for a month
Donations to CORE Tanzania’s Door to the Future campaign will be used for the construction and operation of Twegashe School or to fund a scholarship reserve for Twegashe graduates. Donations specified for scholarships are not reserved for individual children or families. Instead, your scholarship donation will be pooled with other donations and funding sources. This will allow us to provide the most effective support to as many children as possible.
Our U.S. operations are entirely volunteer-run, so 97% of your donation goes directly toward educating poor children in rural Tanzania.
