Birds of Bushasha

In September CORE Tanzania board member Chris Lindberg traveled to Bushasha for two weeks to help with construction of Twegashe School. While there, Chris managed to squeeze in some bird-watching.
It turns out that Bushasha is rich with bird life, probably not surprising given that it’s right on the shore of Lake Victoria, and there are also large wetlands on both sides of the village. Chris was able to identify or tentatively identify more than 50 different bird species during his visit, and he was able to get photos of many of them. Here is a sampling of some of Bushasha’s many beautiful birds!
